The Sunshine Pages Changes Name To Sunshine Media, Launches Small Business Initiative.
Metairie, Louisiana - July 24, 2012; Metairie-based print directories company, The SunShine Pages, has announced today it has undergone a rebrand and renaming, the group will now be called Sunshine Media. Sunshine Media has offices in Metairie, Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Mandeville, and creates 1.7 million print directories for more than 300 cities throughout South Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. “The new name is more reflective of our expanded online offerings, coupled with our highly successful print directories, providing our clients a diverse directional marketing tactical lineup,” said Joshua Descant, General Manager.
One of the first business moves Sunshine Media has completed is the creation of “We Are Local,” a fully integrated community campaign to bring awareness to local small businesses in each of the communities they serve. “We’re building a stronger local economy through small business education and awareness,” said Descant. The new business-to-business community campaign has a microsite www.WeAreLocal.com where businesses will be able to find resources, stories of local success, and learn more about directional marketing.
Sunshine Media will continue to offer businesses existing services, while expanding new robust online offerings. They will begin evolving their consumer-facing enterprise, MySunshineMedia.com, which provides consumers resources, which include business locators, social media sharing and informational short videos about local businesses. Consumers currently have access to Sunshine Media’s mobile applications including coupon retrieval, mapping capabilities, and hands-free, voice recognition searches.
Sunshine Media is a division of EATEL, a privately owned and operated telecommunications provider since 1935. For more information about Sunshine Media, please visit www.MySunshineMedia.com
