While we often see videos of high school students celebrating college acceptance letters, some students are putting a humorous spin on their rejections. One TikTok with over five million views shows Ceci Skala and her friends decorating a “rejection cake.” One by one, the ladies place sticks bearing the logos of the schools that denied them on a plain cake. “If you’re applying to a hard college and you’re seeing all these acceptance videos, it’s going hurt, because it’s like, ‘Am I the only one rejected? Am I not good enough?” Skala said. “You don’t see all the videos of everybody else getting rejected.” (AOL)
