56% of Americans say using coupons on the first date is acceptable, and 61% cite “frugality” as an attractive trait in a partner. The Talker Research survey of 2,000 adults found that $125 is the most the average respondent is comfortable spending on a date. “The data shows today’s daters aren’t looking to be swept off their feet by spending,” Destiny Chatman of TopCashback, which commissioned the poll, said. “In this economy, frugality isn’t just practical. It’s an attractive sign of long-term potential.” (Talker Research)
