Chvrches are stepping into a new chapter. In a recent interview, the Scottish trio confirmed they are working on a 2026 album titled Tell Me Lies, marking their first full-length project since 2021’s Screen Violence.
Speaking about the new material, the band explained that the writing process has felt different this time. After years of touring and side projects, they returned to the studio with a clearer sense of direction. The group described the songs as emotionally direct, shaped by personal experiences and a changing perspective on fame, relationships, and creative pressure.
The band members said they have been careful not to repeat themselves. While their signature synth-driven sound remains intact, they suggested the new record explores fresh textures and lyrical themes. The goal, they noted, was to create something honest rather than chase expectations.
Tell Me Lies is still in progress, with more details expected as production continues. For now, Chvrches appear focused on refining the album and shaping what comes next in their career.
