Shakira and Burna Boy’s Dai Dai recorded its strongest U.S. streaming day following the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. New music consumption data shows the song earned nearly 2.2 million official on-demand streams in the United States on Monday, a 65% increase from the previous day’s 1.4 million.
The jump came after the artists performed the official tournament anthem during the World Cup final halftime show. The appearance also featured Uganda’s Ghetto Kids and placed the collaboration in front of a large international audience.
Dai Dai had already gained significant momentum during the tournament, but the final gave the track another clear boost. Its U.S. streams also rose sharply compared with the days before the event, while global listening increased following the televised performance.
Released in May, the song combines Shakira’s pop style with Burna Boy’s Afro-fusion sound. Its role as the tournament’s official anthem helped connect the track with matches, ceremonies and fan celebrations throughout the competition.
