WalletHub’s analysis of the 150 largest metropolitan areas in the U.S. reveals that Ann Arbor, MI, is the most educated city in the country. Nearly 96% of adults aged 25 and older in Ann Arbor have at least a high school diploma, with over 58% holding a bachelor’s degree and 31% possessing an advanced degree. The city also ranks highly in university quality and public-school system standards. Durham, NC, and Madison, WI, claim the second and third spots, respectively,  McAllen-Edinburg-Mission, Texas, Brownsville-Harlingen, Texas, and Visalia, California were the least-educated cities.
