A recent survey of 2,000 drivers across various vehicle makes and models reveals that motorists spend an average of 24 hours per year contemplating car maintenance and potential issues. This equates to a staggering 565 hours lost over a lifetime. The research, commissioned by BMW, found that over 60% of drivers have missed important events due to undetected car problems, with the average person having to change plans for four occasions in the past year because of such issues. When asked how they would prefer to use that time, a third of drivers said they would read more, 32% would prioritize exercise, and a quarter would book a much-needed vacation. (Talking Points)
