Talker Research conducted the study for Eden Health, polling 2,000 Americans who tried losing weight in the past five years. Respondents report negative thoughts about their bodies four times daily. Half feel uncomfortable in their skin regularly. The survey found 38% feel most self-conscious about their weight. Social impacts are significant: 15% avoid social situations due to body image concerns, while 50% believe they’d feel more confident in photos if comfortable with their appearance.
